Security CCTV caught the chilling moment a murder suspect jogged out of jail when a storm caused the cell door to malfunction.
Kevin David Lenix Wilson, 32, who is considered dangerous, walked out of Effingham County jail in Georgia, US, on Monday.
Wilson left the unlocked cell room door at around 8pm and entered an unsecured area, where he fled on foot.
In CCTV footage, Wilson can be seen running frantically through an outdoor zone near parked cars .
He was discovered missing during a routine headcount at 7.10am on Tuesday.
As of Thursday, Wilson, described as a 5-foot-10, 180-pound black male, has not been found.

Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said during a press conference aired by WJCL that the storm had caused a computer glitch and ‘human error’ had contributed to his escape as the door was left open by staff.
He said: “Once you start with those computers, all kinds of stuff can go haywire.
“The jail was initially unlocked from that situation. This was a door that just never got locked back.
“We apparently didn’t check it like we should have.”
A manhunt was launched and a Statesboro K9 Unit bloodhound picked up his scent near the jail but it quickly dissipated, indicating he could have been helped to escape by someone.
Wilson was being held for the Rincon Police Department on numerous charges that occurred during a traffic stop in October 2020, according to the police release.

In August last year, he was indicted by Chatham County Grand Jury for three counts of murder, one count of felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon that took place on May 13, 2020 in Savannah.
He is thought to have been involved in the killing of 28-year-old Vincent Smalls Jr, who was shot dead. Police arrested second suspect Labrea Adger, 19, in June 2020, reports Fox 28.
Mr McDuffie said Wilson was not a problem inmate until his escape.
The public have been warned not to approach Wilson if they see him as he is considered dangerous, and should report his whereabouts to 911.
