A Sydney man is expected to be charged with the murder of an elderly man found dying on a street in the city's inner west earlier this year.
The unresponsive man was discovered by emergency services in Summer Hill in the early hours of February 7 after a member of the public phoned for help.
Police performed CPR but he died at the scene.
He was later identified as 72-year-old Vincenzo Leonello and Strike Force Ratsu was formed to investigate his death.
The 56-year-old suspect was arrested at Summer Hill on Thursday and is expected to be charged with murder.
