A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a Scots mum whose body was found in a parked car.
Jane Fitzpatrick was discovered dead inside the vehicle on Cable Road in Glenrothes, Fife, at around 9am on August 9.
The 48-year-old’s death was treated as ‘unexplained’ by detectives who on Saturday announced they had arrested and charged a man in connection.

Mark Campbell, from Lochgelly, appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 35-year-old faced a charge of assault, murder and previously envince malice and ill-will.
The second half of the charge means that the alleged murder is believed to have been aggravated by previous hostile behaviour towards Ms Fitzpatrick.
Campbell is also charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm.
He made no plea and has been remanded in custody with the case committed for further examination.
He is due to reappear within the next eight days.
