Cops have launched a murder inquiry following the death of 45-year-old Valerijs Litvins in Parkhead area of Glasgow.
The body of the man was found in a flat in Burgher Street in the north of the city around 11.15pm on Sunday, March 7.
Police have confirmed that a post mortem has now been carried out and his death is being treated as murder.
The family of Valerijs Litvins have been made aware of his death.
Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Grant of Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team, said: "Officers have been in the area carrying out enquiries, checking CCTV and speaking to local residents in an effort to establish the circumstances surrounding his death, however, we are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information that would assist our investigation.
"We would be interested to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the street, or anyone who may have heard a disturbance in the area that night to contact us.

Detectives have also set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to submit information.
