Murder probe after man found stabbed to death in an alleyway in Kent

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in an alleyway in Kent.

Paramedics found the victim in Oakfield Lane, Dartford, on Thursday at 8.18am.

Police arrived at the location and said the forty-year-old man had injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are trying to piece together what happened before the man died and have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "The man, in his forties, had injuries consistent with stab wounds.

“Officers have arrested a man, also in his forties, on suspicion of murder.

“Police remain at the scene and inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
