A man in his 40s has been found dead in the bedroom of a southeast Queensland home.
The body was found at the property on Ronald Street, Wynumm, east of Brisbane, by a friend who phoned triple zero.
"Police have attended and it was clear to the attending officers that the person was deceased and that it appeared suspicious," Detective Inspector Steve Hollands said.
He said no details were available about the man's injuries, but a crime scene had been established
Officers thought the man died between 1am and midday on Wednesday.
Robbery did not appear to be a motive, Det Insp Hollands told reporters.
Anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
