I am very happy to be reviewing the first book written by my favourite author Robin Stevens.
I was looking for a new book to read and I saw Murder Most Unladylike in my bookshop. I loved the bright blue cover and the blurb sounded very interesting as I like mystery books.
The story is about Hazel Wong and her best friend Daisy Wells. They go to Deepdean boarding school. They started a secret detective society and lucky for them there was soon a murder for them to solve!
Last year I read Malory Towers and I really love the boarding school setting so I liked that part of Murder Most Unladylike. I think it would be fun to go to a boarding school.
At Deepdean school they have a ‘bunbreak’ which is wear they get a 10 minute break to chat and eat buns. I wish I had a bunbreak at my school!
I couldn’t guess the murderer all through the book which made it more exciting when I found out who it was. But you will have to read the book yourself to find out who did it!
I would definitely recommend this story for any gender. Even though most of the characters are female this book isn’t just for girls.
