Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens - review

Wow! What a fabulous novel; this has really got me into reading murder mysteries. I have seen one or two Agatha Christie films, the queen of stories to do with murder, but this is the first murder mystery book I have read and I’m glad I read it.

Hazel and Daisy (best friends) live at Deepdean’s school for girls and have set up a detective agency at their school. The problem is they can’t find a truly exciting enough case to investigate.

But that all changes when Hazel finds the body of the science mistress in the Gym – dead! Together, the two girls try to solve the mystery and find the culprit. But will they catch the murderer? And can their friendship stand the test?

My favourite character is Hazel because she’s a bit like me – clumsy, troublesome and a loyal friend.
