Murder investigation underway after man shot dead in Belfast

A murder investigation is underway after a man was shot dead in Belfast.

The shocking incident happened on Etna Drive, in the Ardoyne area of the city.

It is understood the shooting happened in the garden of a household.

It is understood a car was found burned out on the nearby Jamaica Road, however it has not yet been confirmed if this is connected to the shooting.
