Police remain at the scene of a suspected murder following the death of a woman in Leeds on Sunday evening.
Emergency services rushed to Naburn Fold, Whinmoor at 6.31pm on Sunday, after the woman was found with serious injuries. A witness reported that a house had been taped off and the street was cordoned off by West Yorkshire Police.
The force has now confirmed that a murder investigation has been launched after the seriously injured woman died at the scene.

Cordons remain in place in Naburn Fold.
A spokesperson said: “At 6.31pm on Sunday, emergency services attended Naburn Fold in Leeds after a woman was found with serious injuries.
“It was confirmed the woman had died at the scene and a murder investigation has been launched.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a police scene remains in place.”
