
A murder investigation has been launched after a four-year-old boy was found dead in a home near London.
Police rushed to a property in Maidenhead, Berkshire at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, June 10.
Despite the effort of officers, the child was pronounced dead at the address in Dunholme End.
A 37-year-old woman from the town has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Thame Valley Police said a crime scene would remain in place at the house until Tuesday, June 17.
The boy's family have been informed of his death and are being supported by specially trained officers, a spokesman for the force said.
Detective Inspector Rob Underhill, from Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: "This is an exceptionally tragic incident, in which a young boy has tragically passed away.
"Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the boy's next of kin are aware and my thoughts, and the thoughts of all of us at Thames Valley Police, are with them at this extremely difficult time.”

He added: "I recognise the concern this will cause in the local community.
“However, we are confident that there is no wider risk to the community and thank you for your patience as our officers continue their work.”
Anyone who may have any information regarding the incident is asked share it with the force.
Maidenhead is served by the Elizabeth Line and Great Western Railway, providing direct services to central London, including stations such as Paddington and Canary Wharf.
