A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead within a common close in Lambhill.
A 33-year-old was found injured at an address on Knapdale Street around 2am on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the victim was sadly pronounced dead.
Detectives are now treating the death as murder and have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection. Enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Peter Crombie, senior investigating officer, said: "I want to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident.
"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information surrounding what happened to contact us."
