Two men have been arrested and charged by police in connection with the death of a man in Port Glasgow.
The 28-year-old’s body was discovered within a flat in Mackie Avenue at around 3.30pm on Sunday, May 16.
A major investigation was launched to determine the circumstances surrounding his death which cops treated initially treated as ‘unexplained’ and later as murder.
A post mortem was later performed while uniformed officers carried out door to door enquiries in the surrounding area.
Police Scotland have now confirmed that two men, aged 35 and 46, have been charged in connection.
They were due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
