A Victorian man has been charged with the murder of another man who went missing more than a month ago following a suspected fight.

Rosebud man Jake Bradford, 21, was reported missing by his mother on January 29, with his disappearance treated as suspicious.

Police believe Mr Bradford was involved in an altercation near Foster North, a rural area north of Wilsons Promontory National Park, on or around January 24.

A 25-year-old Korumburra man was arrested on Saturday night and has been charged with one count of murder.

He has been remanded to face Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 25-year-old woman of no fixed address remains in custody after she was arrested on Thursday on unrelated matters.
