A man has been charged with murder after over a woman's death at a caravan park in regional Victoria.
Emergency services attended the premises on Great Alpine Road in Everton, in the state's northeast, just after 7pm on Monday night following reports a woman had been injured.
Paramedics treated the 40-year-old Wangaratta woman at the scene but she was unable to be revived.
A 43-year-old Everton man was arrested and has been charged with murder.
Police say the pair were known to each other.
He is expected to face Wangaratta Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
