A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting his housemate at their property south of Perth.
Police say the 23-year-old victim, named in media reports as James Bradley Reynolds, was shot in the leg during an altercation at the home in Warnbro on Sunday.
He was later found by a friend who called an ambulance. He died in Royal Perth Hospital the following day.
Homicide detectives searched an address in Waikiki where the gun was allegedly found.
Duke Adam Lyndsay Edis has been charged with murder and will face Rockingham Magistrates Court from custody on Tuesday.
He was refused police bail.
