Murder charge following WA house fire

WA police have charged a man with murder after a woman's body was found in a house fire. (AAP)

A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman's body in a house fire in Perth.

Firefighters made the find while attending the blaze, in Ravenscar Street at Doubleview, about 7.15am on Saturday.

The 30-year-old was located inside the residence and her death deemed suspicious.

Police arrested a man they say was known to the woman on Saturday afternoon.

The 29-year-old has been charged with murder and will appear in Perth Magistrates' Court on Sunday.

Police said on Saturday they wanted to speak a man who might have been riding a push scooter and be able to assist with inquiries.

Detectives also asked people to share CCTV or dashcam footage from Ravenscar St or the surrounding area.
