A murder bid probe has been launched after a man was left seriously injured near a Paisley school.
The incident happened around 9.30pm last night at Stanley Reservoir near to Gleniffer High School in Paisley.
Emergency services attended and a 24-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he remains.

Detective Inspector Ian Ross of Paisley CID said: “We are appealing for the help of the public in tracing those responsible.
“We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything which may help with our investigation to get in touch.
“Likewise we would ask anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time to review it and get in touch.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3662 of 1 September.
