Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead and another was found injured in a Falkirk flat.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene in Westfield Street just after 11pm on Friday night.
The second man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers have arrested a 37-year-old in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Forth Valley were called to an address in Westfield Street area of Falkirk at 11.05pm on Friday following a report of concern for the occupants.
"Officers and emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"A second man found injured was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital and released following treatment.
"A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with murder and enquiries are ongoing."
