A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died in Salford. Police were called to Seedley Road at around 4pm this evening (Friday) following reports of a disturbance.
A man was found injured at the scene and taken to hospital by paramedics. He died at around 5.10pm, police said in a statement.
GMP confirmed a A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning. There is a large scene in place on the road and forensics have been scrambled to the scene.

Photos show the road has been taped off and a large number of emergency service vehicles are present.

The scene stretches from Fitzwarren Street to Seedley Road. Police have confirmed the incident is believed to be isolated.
Superintendent Joe Harrop said: "Detectives from the Major Incident Team are now investigating the murder and it is believed there is no risk to the wider community, as it appears to be an isolated incident.
"We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident this evening, or if anyone has any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, to contact us via 101."
