Murata slumps to 18th place

Freestyle skier Arisa Murata of Japan missed the podium in the women's moguls Sunday at Pyeongchang's Phoenix Snow Park.

Murata finished 18th in the first run of the final, leaving her out of the top 12 that qualified for a second run.

This is the third Olympics for the 27-year-old Murata. However, at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, she suffered a torn ligament in her left knee during a practice session and had to withdraw from the competition.
