Muppets strike back at Goldman Sachs

Remember when people wanted to work at Goldman Sachs? These days the bank whose boss thinks he's "doing God's work" just can't catch a break. Nuns call them greedy, politicians regularly beat them up.

Now even the Muppets have come out against Goldman.

The puppets are on the warpath after former Goldman banker Greg Smith, in a now-famous New York Times op-ed, claimed the bank's directors "refer to their own clients as 'muppets'," and not in a nice way.

In a satirical Funny or Die video, The Anti-Muppet Defamation League storm the Goldman Sachs boardroom to lodge a formal complaint against the "use of the word muppet in an offensive and derogatory fashion".

The Muppets aren't the only ones who are annoyed about bankers taking their name in vain. Goldman bosses are conducting their own investigation to find out whose been denigrating their puppets (I mean clients).

If they don't sort it out soon, it'll be time for the heavy guns. Send in Miss Piggy. Kiya!
