Munster's plans to return to training this afternoon ahead of Saturday's home PRO14 clash with Edinburgh have been cancelled.
The province is still awaiting the full results of yesterday's round of PCR testing, which followed confirmation on Tuesday that one senior player had tested positive for Covid-19 and that six other players had been told to self-isolate as close contacts.
The Reds have promised a further update once the full results have been received.
A statement from the province said that Johann van Graan's squad are expected to meet for their Captain's Run tomorrow ahead of the Edinburgh clash.
The senior player who tested positive was not a part of the travelling party for last week's opening PRO14 victory at Parc Y Scarlets.
