Mums swear £10 Boots spray gets their children to sleep through 'every time'

It’s been a difficult few weeks with the country on lockdown due to the coronavirus but one thing that can make you cope a bit better is getting a good night's sleep.

Of course, that’s not always possible when you have a baby or small child.

If you’ve got a little sleep thief in your life, chances are you’ve tried everything to get a few more hours in.

While it’s natural for babies to wake throughout the night, it doesn’t stop you wishing they would just sleep a little longer.

Thankfully, Boots is stocking a product parents are swearing does just this, with people saying it’s ‘amazing’ and ‘works every time’.

Bloom and Blossom’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Pillow Spray (£9.99, 75ml) is said to help ‘soothe, calm and relax’ your baby and unlike some pillow sprays, is suitable to use from newborn.

The spray has received five star reviews from customers on the Boots website, with one saying last month: “This product is amazing, my 11th month twins have slept right through nearly every night since I purchased this !! Lovely smell too.. thank you bloom & blossom! One happy twin Mammy !”

Another who reviewed it a month ago, said: “Works every time (and I’ve sneaked a spray or two into my own pillow), we wouldn’t be without it now.”

While another shopper, who used it earlier this year said it, “sent my child to sleep in five-ten minutes”.

And someone else wrote: “I was a little sceptical after using several different types of sprays/moisturiser/bubble bath etc… However, pleasantly surprised. Smells beautiful, settled quickly and my baby has slept through every night (bar one) since using it. A product we now, won’t be without.”

However, not all reviews were glowing, with one shopper saying: “Didn't work for my little 6 month boy, maybe because he is teething and getting used to his new cot. The spray does smell nice but didn't help or encourage my little one to sleep longer then 3 hours”.

And another posting: “Smells lovely But My baby didn’t sleep better”.

Clearly many are rushing to try it though and the product is proving so popular it’s currently out of stock to order online. However it’s worth checking your local Boots store if you’ve got to visit for an essential shop, and keeping an eye on the website for when it’s available again.
