Mums share the weirdest food combinations their kids ask for - including chips wrapped in candy floss, and strawberries in Marmite.

Mums have taken to the internet to reveal the most bizarre food combinations from their households.

Parents shared some crazy requests their children have asked for, including dry pasta dipped in sugar, raw carrots and mustard and an After Eights sandwich.

Unsurprisingly ingredients such as Marmite and peanut butter feature high on the list of unusual combinations.

But some people are fusing two foods together that were never supposed to meet.

Sparking the foodie debate, one mum posted Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas Facebook page: "My most unusual combination must be the inside of a cooked fish cake on a slice of bread. Mmmmmmm

"My 12 year olds is uncooked pasta dunked in sugar (despite how much I tell him not to. What’s your weirdest food combination?"

The post racked up more than 2,500 comments with people sharing their crazy combos on the page.

One said: "My daughter has a fried egg in between 2 pieces of toast with Jam on the toast."
