Two mums who have their own cleaning business have shared their favourite "can't go wrong" products and hacks.
Best friends Briony Connolly, 30, and Chelsey Stanistreet, 32, created their own business Clean & Bright Services in February 2020 and are now fully booked every week. The women, from Wigan, both started working as housekeepers in the same place and had been making throwaway comments about starting their own cleaning business for a while.
The mums then went on a "day sesh" in a bar in 2020 when they started speaking about it seriously for the first time. fast forward three years and the business partners have more than 135k followers on TikTok and their videos have been viewed millions of times.

They use social media to display their work - including their top secret carpet lines - and give people cleaning tips, tricks and motivation. Briony and Chelsey have now shared some of their favourite cleaning products and hacks that they use everyday while cleaning homes.
Briony said: "Put bi carb and white vinegar down the sink every night, it's a natural cleaning solution which will clean your drains and leaves them smelling fresh. Another tip is a good glass spray and glass cloth will leave your glass sparkling.
"We personally love Windolene Diamond Shine or Pink Stuff glass cleaner with a Minky glass cloth. You can't go wrong.
"For mould we recommend HG mould remover and we absolutely love Woodsilk for wood. Make sure you have a good glass scraper for limescale on glass and a silicone scraper for on top of hobs."
Clean & Bright's top tips
1. Always make a list
No matter how small the list is, it helps to work your way through jobs and gives you satisfaction when those tasks are ticked off.
2. make use of spare toothbrushes
Clean & Bright recommend using cotton buds and spare toothbrushes to clean hard to reach areas such as toilet seats and window frames.
3. Always start cleaning top to bottom
Whether it's from the top cupboards of the kitchen first or working from rooms upstairs to downstairs, always go from top to bottom.
4. Making the bed
Briony from Clean and Bright sys making your bed first thing will make tidying easier, and your day go a whole lot better.
5. Moving away from microfibre cloths
Instead of using microfibre clothes, Clean & Bright have said flannels help prevent dust from moving around more than microfibre cloths
