If you're cash-strapped this Mother's Day, don't panic because Tuk Tuk are here to help with a cracking food freebie.
The Indian street food restaurant opened its doors in 2012 on Edinburgh’s Leven Street and has gained a loyal following thanks to its rustic railway style Indian dishes.
This is the place to go if you want to grab a delicious bite to eat, with a menu featuring a ton of sharing plates so you can sample as many dishes as possible. They also operate a BYOB policy - on wines and beers only.
To mark Mother’s Day (22 March), Tuk Tuk is offering all mothers a free meal in their Edinburgh and Glasgow branches, with mums or grannies served a choice of starter, curry and rice or naan bread from Tuk Tuk’s menu.
They can start the meal with a Roadside Plate, like the new Vada Pav, a spicy fried potato ball served in a bun. The vegan dish is Mumbai’s is also a favourite street food snack.
Then it’s time to get stuck into one of the street curries, like the creamy black lentil Daal Makhani, or the chef’s favourite, garlicky Lamb Lasooni, with a side rice or naan bread.

There a few rules worth noting if you're looking to claim this offer.
Tables will be available from 12pm on Sunday 22 March only.
Booking is essential and all bookings must quote "TUKTUKMAMA" when booking and upon arrival at the restaurant.
Parties must be a minimum of four guests and one has to be to be mum (or granny). The offer is also only valid once per customer.
