Police in Brazil have seized a parrot that was caught tipping off suspected drug dealers that cops were on the approach.
Hilarious pictures and video footage show the ' narco parrot ' under arrest after being heard squawking "Mummy! Police!" when officers neared a property in Teresina, in the northeastern state of Piaui.
A spokesman for the force said: "He must have been trained for that.
"He began to scream as soon as the police approached."

The imprisoned bird was seized on Monday afternoon during the raid on the drug den.
He has since not uttered a word, remaining in total silence throughout his time in custody.
There are now plans to donate him to Teresina Zoo.
