Mumbai: Woman killed by live-in partner in Saki Naka

MUMBAI: A 29-year-old woman died of multiple stab injuries after she was attacked by her live-in partner in their Mhada flat at Sangarsh Nagar in Mumbai's Saki Naka on Thursday.

Accused Raju Nale (42), a TV repair technician, was arrested before he could manage to flee after committing the offence late at night on Wednesday.

During the probe, Nale said he doubted the victim Manisha Jadhav of having a relationship with another person. “Nale and Jadhav have been staying together for the last three years. Both have married more than two times before they started living together without divorcing their earlier partners,” said a police officer.

The police team rushed to the spot after neighbours called the cops when they heard the victim’s scream. “Nale had changed his blood-stained clothes and was in the process of trying to escape when the police reached his flat and nabbed him,” said Saki Naka police senior inspector Balwant Deshmukh.
