MUMBAI: On the occasion of the Muharram Tajiya procession that will be carried out from Dharavi 60-feet Road, 90-feet Road, Mahim Sion Link Road, Saint Rohidas Road, and other locations of Dharavi, the traffic movement will be diverted on the following roads between 3pm and 12am on August 9.
DCP (Traffic) Raj Tilak Roushan said during the procession huge traffic congestion is expected. Hence to avoid traffic congestion and to streamline traffic the order has been issued on a temporary basis.The traffic diversion will be made on the following roads: Mahim Sion Link Road towards Kemkar Chowk to Dharavi T Junction.
Vehicles from Matunga through Kumbhar wada junction proceed through Sion Hospital-Sion Junction to Sion railway station. From Sion railway station through Saint Rohidas Road shall proceed through LBS Road.
