MUMBAI: Six days after a cooking gas cylinder exploded in the BDD Chawl in Worli, the third victim succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
Four-month-old Mangesh and his father Anand Puri (27) had died last week. The infant’s mother Vidya Puri (25) was declared dead at 5 pm at the BMC-run Kasturba Hospital.
Five-year-old Vishnu Puri is now the only surviving member of the family. Vishnu suffered 15-20% burns in the incident and his condition is stated tobe stable.
