Mumbai: Railway officers pay tribute to 7/11 train bomb blast victims

MUMBAI: Senior railway officers from Western Railway paid tributes on the 15th commemorative anniversary of the Mumbai train blasts by laying wreath and observing two minutes of silence in the memory of the departed souls at Matunga Road, Mahim Jn, Bandra, Santacruz, Jogeshwari, Borivali and Bhayander stations on Sunday.

"Exactly 15 years ago, in a dastardly act of cowardice, bombs were exploded in the first class coaches of seven suburban trains near Matunga Road, Mahim Jn, Bandra, Santacruz, Jogeshwari, Borivali and Bhayandar railway stations. We have paid homage to the blast victims today," said an official.
