MUMBAI: Marine Drive police on Saturday arrested a 22-year-old domestic help for blackmailing his employer with pictures and videos of his wife suffering from conversion reaction disorder, in comprising positions, and demanding extortion.
Accused Sachin Yadav, a native of Jharkhand, has been remanded to police custody, and cops have recovered a cell phone containing victim's pictures and a laptop from him.
The complainant is a doctor from South Mumbai and had hired Yadav in 2019. "His wife told him that Yadav had taken her pictures in May while she was unconscious, and was demanding Rs 10,000.'' the police said.
