Mumbai: Digital bus ticketing app to cater to more commuters

MUMBAI: The BEST launched the 'Chalo' app for mobile ticketing and bus passes on iOS platform on Saturday evening.

So far, this app was available only on android platform in which nearly 6 lakh commuters were already registered.

“We expect hundreds of more commuters to opt for digital tickets from Sunday onwards as the app is now available on a wider platform,” said a senior official.

He added that digital ticketing will save time and give 100% paperless travel experience to commuters.
