MUMBAI: A sessions court on Monday allowed the defence plea to access the tower locations of one of the numbers used by an investigating officer in the 2011 Laila Khan murder case.

The officer, Jyotsna V Rasam, is is now an ACP.

The defence for Parvez Taq sought the details for July 10, 2012, around the time the bodies of Khan and her family members were discovered at their farm house in Igatpuri. The court rejected the defence plea for the judge to visit the scene of the crime. The case was filed after Khan, her mother Saleena, siblings Azmina, Imran and Zara, and another relative, Reshma Khan, went missing from Mumbai in February 2011. tnn
