MUMBAI: A Congress party functionary has registered a complaint at Malad police station of receiving threats for a second time this year. The complainant told the police he suspects the incidents are linked.
The complainant is a hotelier. According to the FIR, on July 30, an unknown person came to the gate of the building where he lives and hurled abuses. After being told by the guard which wing of the to go to, the man went there and continued to hurl abuses. He said he would shoot the complainant and his family with a gun.
Later, the guard and supervisor told the complainant about what had happened. The complainant later lodged an FIR.
