MUMBAI: Juhu police arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly harassing and passing lewd comments at a woman in Andheri (W) on Sunday.
The incident occurred at around 1.20am outside an SRA building on the Juhu-Versova Link Road.
The 28-year-old woman was entering the building gate where Govind Chavan was sitting with his friend in an autorickshaw and began passing comments.
“The woman complained that Chavan whistled at her and sang songs and asked her if she would go with him,” said a police officer. When she confronted Chavan, he commented on her dress.
Police said she called up her friend and both informed police and got Chavan arrested.
