Police have launched a search for a schoolboy reported missing from Uddingston last night.
Jay Maguire's 'very unusual' disappearance has left his mum Amanda 'worried sick' as she appeals to anyone with information to come forward.
The 15-year-old was last seen heading towards Bellshill from Uddingston at around 6pm yesterday evening.
Jay is described as around 5ft 5 and he was was wearing a black jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms and Nike trainers at the time, while he usually walks with his hood up.
Amanda says it's very unusual for her son to just disappear with no contact on social media.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the police on 101 with incident number 1079 of 3rd of February or to message her directly on TikTok @Maxmets.
Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live: "He has been reported missing and enquiries are ongoing to trace him."
