Mum who spent £1.5k on kids at Christmas stuns Instagram with video of 2019 presents

A Christmas-mad mum who splashed out a whopping £1.5k on presents for her children has gone big again - and shared the results on Instagram.

In 2017, Emma Tapping posted an image to social media which showed presents stacked so high they almost reached the same height as the Christmas tree.

The year before she had appeared in Channel 5's 'Xmas Excess: Parents Splash The Cash', in which her festive spending habits were laid bare.

Now - despite the fact her festive spending has irked some - the generous mum has pushed the boat out again.

The haters haven't stopped her showing her 17.7k Instagram followers the piles of presents she has bought her loved ones this year.

You can see Emma's 2019 mountain of presents in the Instagram video below...

In a video set to Wham! hit Last Christmas, Emma wrote: "I've managed to make another #magical #christmas for my family. Lots of planning. Lots of sales and deals. Roll on the big day."

One follower commented on the post: "Be less materialistic," to which Emma responded: "Be less judgemental."

However, it wasn't all bad as some were in awe of the huge stash of gifts which has taken over the entire room.

"Wow haha that's insane, sure your kids must love Christmas lucky kids," said one.

Another commented: "Well done you for working hard all year. hope your kids have a fantastic day merry Christmas."

A third was that impressed they joked: "Adopt me I'm 27 by the way."

Having previously dealt with comments on her extravagant present haul, Ms Tapping, from the Isle of Mann, appeared on This Morning in 2016 to defend her spending.

She said "I work hard for my money. I start in January, shop all the way through the year, and that's the pile at the end of the year.

"I wouldn't change it for the world."
