Mum who spent £1.5k on Christmas presents is back with this year's haul

A mum who buys hundreds of Christmas presents for her family has shared a video of this year's haul.

And it hasn't gone down particularly well with some people.

Emma Tapping admitted spending more than £1.5k on her kids at Christmas in Channel 5's 'Xmas Excess: Parents Splash The Cash'.

Then in 2017, the 39-year-old shared an image of the masses of present which were stacked so high that they almost reached the same height as the Christmas tree.

But the negative comments haven't stopped her as she took to Instagram to show off the presents she has bought this year.

Sharing the video, set to the backdrop of Wham! hit Last Christmas, to her 17.7k Instagram followers, she wrote: I've managed to make another #magical #christmas for my family. Lots of planning. Lots of sales and deals. Roll on the big day."

One follower commented on the post: "Be less materialistic," to which Emma responded: "Be less judgemental."

However, it wasn't all bad as some were in awe of the huge stash of gifts which has taken over the entire room.

"Wow haha that's insane, sure your kids must love Christmas lucky kids," said one.

Another commented: "Well done you for working hard all year. hope your kids have a fantastic day merry Christmas."

A third was that impressed they joked: "Adopt me I'm 27 by the way."

Having previously dealt with comments on her extravagant present haul, Ms Tapping appeared on This Morning in 2016 to defend her spending.

She said "I work hard for my money. I start in January, shop all the way through the year, and that's the pile at the end of the year.

"I wouldn't change it for the world."

Last week, Manchester parents told us that 'Christmas has become a competition' and spoke to us about their spending habits at this time of year.
