Mum who lost tragic six-month-old baby in horror crash asks how 'life can be so cruel'

The mother of a six-month-old baby who was tragically killed in a collision has questioned how life could be so cruel in a tribute to her tragic son.

Harry Kiely, from Essex in England, was only six months old when he was seriously injured in a collision involving two vehicles on Cherry Tree Avenue in Clacton on July 13, My London reports.

He was rushed to hospital but despite the best efforts of doctors, he sadly died there.

Paying tribute to her 'gorgeous little haribo', Harry's mother said: “My darling boy, you was taken far too soon, anyone who knows you and knows me will know how much you meant to me baby boy.

"Life will never be the same without you, mummy and all your family will forever have you in our hearts.

“I don’t understand how life can be so cruel, until we meet again my gorgeous little haribo. Goodnight my boy.”

Social media users have also offered their condolences after the death of the baby, with one commenting: "God bless you little man.

"Now in the gentle arms of the angels. My deepest sympathy to all family and friends of sweet Harry, at this very sad and difficult time xxx."

A second added: "God bless Harry and sending love to his broken hearted Mummy and all those who loved him.. so so tragic."

Officers from Essex Police are still investigating the collision and are urging any witnesses with information or footage of the incident to come forward.

A woman, who is not related to the child, was arrested on suspicion of a number of driving offences, including causing death by dangerous driving.

She was released on bail until August.
