A mum and her six-year-old son who went missing over the bank holiday weekend have been found.
Kelly Rea and her son Mason, had last been seen at around 1pm on Friday afternoon in the Bootle area.
Following their disappearance police made an urgent appeal for information about their whereabouts and a description of the mum and her son was issued.
However this morning police reported that Kelly and Mason had been found safe and well.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Thank you all for sharing our appeal to find missing Kelly Rea & her son Mason, we're pleased that they have both been found safe and well."
