A mum was given the fright of her life recently when she decided to check the baby monitor in her daughter's room and found the tot staring directly into the camera.
Christie George took to TikTok to share the creepy footage with her followers and explained she had decided to check the monitor after putting her daughter to bed and was thoroughly terrified by what she saw.
Expecting to see the little one sound asleep, Christie was actually confronted with an extreme close up of her daughter's face as she stared into the camera with a blank expression on her face.
Christie, 28, captioned the video: "I'll just check the baby monitor..."

For added effect, the mum - who posts under the username @christiegeeee - accompanied the video with a sound effect from Amityville Horror to make sure her followers were just as freaked out as she was.
And commenters on the video were definitely terrified, as many of them admitted that seeing creepy footage of their children is the exact reason they've never put baby monitors in their kids' rooms.
One person said: "This is why I hate putting my son in his crib in his room. Because that means ill have to check the monitor and I'm scared of this. I don't know why."
While another added: "That’s why I refuse to have a camera monitor."
Others joked that Christie needs to "call a priest" to perform an exorcism on her baby, while there were also comments from people who simply wanted to express their feelings of unease after watching the clip.
Someone wrote: "You need to call a priest."
As someone else posted: "Oh my god, I'm scared."
"Is this the Blair Witch Project?", a third asked.
But Christie isn't alone either, as other mums took to the comments to admit their own kids have also done some bizarre and creepy things that have been caught on camera.
One parent said: "My 2-year-old has night terrors and will occasionally just sit in his bed and stare at the monitor. Truly terrifying."
As another shared: "One time my daughter sprint scrawled to grab the monitor and I had never been so scared."

Casey and Jon Waller had put their two-year-old son Jase Waller to bed for the night when they went to check the baby monitor to make sure he was sleeping soundly and found it had fallen from its usual spot.
And when the couple went to review the footage to find out what had happened, they made a hilarious discovery - as the recording showed little Jase rummaging around in his crib to find a toy that resembled a ball and launching it and the monitor, immediately knocking it over.
Stay-at-home-dad Jon then went back into his son's room to reposition the monitor, but footage once again showed Jase unleashing his sharpshooting abilities to knock the camera over for a second time.
