Mum turns breast milk into butter and feeds it to her partner on a piece of toast

Breastfeeding is, of course, one of the most natural things in the world. But, somehow, it doesn't feel quite so natural when it's a mum's partner who is on the receiving end of said milk, not her child.

One mum decided to give herself a giggle by not just feeding her boyfriend her breastmilk, but by churning it into butter and spreading it on toast. It might be a little unorthodox, but you've got to admit, she does a good job.

In a TikTok video, mum Laura ( @laurahall53 ) decided to show off the result of her little at-home science experiment and said she has "never felt so proud," before bursting into fits of laughter, the Daily Star reports.

It all started after Laura expressed and left her milk on the counter (@laurahall53)

The journey from breastmilk to butter began after Laura expressed her milk and then left it into a jug until the cream rose to the top. She later churched the cream until it turned thick and yellow and well and truly looked like butter.

Taking to TikTok at the start of this month, Laura shared her creation, which she named her 'udder butter,' and her clip has since been viewed more than 1.2 million times.

In a follow up video, Laura and her husband gave the breast milk butter the ultimate taste test by spreading it onto plain toast - and it's fair to say that neither of them were overly impressed.

"It doesn't taste great," Laura said, while gagging on her own udder butter. Meanwhile, her husband rated it a five out of ten and confessed he would only consider eating it if he was really hungry. Fair.

"He wanted to say ten but you pressured him. He's gonna eat the whole container when you go to bed," follower joked, while another wrote: "That's probably some of the healthiest butter on the planet!"

A third added: "I'm a mom and I still gagged."
