A mum has turned her son’s dull bedside table into an utterly adorable VW camper van that even has working headlights.
Sharing her work on the DIY on a Budget Facebook page, she showed just how much work she'd done to pull off the transformation.
“Before and after pics of my son’s bedside table," she wrote.
The original table was simply mahogany brown, with simple round knobs on the drawers.
But with a bit of ingenuity, paint, three spare handles and some stick on LEDs that's all changed.
First the unit was painted white and blue, before dove grey paint was used to create windows, with new handles added diagonally to look like wipers.
The original knobs were moved to the edges of the middle drawer and painted to look like indicators while a VW logo was placed between them.
The third drawer has a handle added horizontally almost like a bumper - as well as the impressive working headlights made from tap-touch LEDs.
Other members of the group were suitably impressed, liking it thousands of times and adding hundreds of comments.
One wrote: “That’s fantastic well done you.”
“Fantastic absolutely stunning,” said another.
A third added: “Stunning! Which kid wouldn't want that?”
