On many of our dream home wish lists would be a personal cinema.
And one mum has taken matters into her own hands - doing it all on a budget.
The DIY job to renovate the loft and turn it into the dream movie room includes mood lighting, reclining chairs and, of course, a full entertainment system, the Mirror reports.
Before pictures show the space being used to store the miscellaneous objects which many of us will recognise from our own attics, including boxes, unused electronics and an old vacuum cleaner.
Showing the progress of the job on the DIY on a Budget Facebook group, the room was completely cleared out, before being repainted and fitted with a plush new carpet.
Cinema style lights were added, along with four leather reclining chairs and a huge 65" flat-screen TV.
The whole thing came in at under £900, spending £20 on paint, £40 on the lights, £120 on the carpet, £350 on the TV and picking up four chairs for £350.
It took the family a week to complete and others were quick to share their amazement at the incredible results.
One commented: "This is by far THE BEST post on here I've ever seen and so awesomely family orientated.
“Hats off to you."
A second replied to say: "Wow this is wicked. I would love this."
Another added: “Great idea I love this! You did a wonderful job."
Another mum has found her newborn son becoming the envy of plenty of muggles after showing off the spell-binding results of her Harry Potter nursery creation.
She shared a look at the magical room on Facebook, revealing it took months of planning to put it all together.
