A lot of consideration goes into choosing a baby name, and when you finally find one that you really like, it is a pretty big moment.
But what do you do when you let your internet in on your choice, only for them to dish harsh feedback?
This is the situation one expectant mum, found herself in recently after her partner suggested a name she liked.
Posting on Reddit, the pregnant mum asked for feedback on the name - and people weren't that enthusiastic.
She wrote: "I just want to hear your thoughts on this name. I think we’re pretty set on it, but just want thoughts.

"So I think we’re naming our baby Rex and I wasn’t keen on this, but my fiancé explained that it’s his favourite name for a little boy (particularly our little boy) because it just brings up good memories for him searching for fossils and learning all about dinosaurs from his dad.
"Which I do like that reasoning so we’re pretty set on that. Anyways all that to say, thoughts on Rex?"
People didn't hold back on their reasoning for choosing another name instead.
One Redditor replied: "I’m going to be that person - Rex sounds like a dog name. But this time, it really does.
"What about using the name of a famous paleontologist? That way you two would have that knowledge and it would be a special meaning."
Another agreed, adding: "I just feel like it's a dog name, not a people name. That said, I've heard worse.
"Other options would be to name the baby after a famous paleontologist: Robert, John, Stephen, Richard, Owen, Charles, Gideon, etc.
"Or name him "after" a dinosaur -- Abelisaurus = Abe, Albertacerotops = Albert, Camarasaurus = Cameron, etc. There's a lot of options if you're looking for a compromise."
But others loved it - with one fan responding: "I love it. And I actually think it’s becoming a little more popular! I’ve heard of several little babies being named Rex this past year. Super cute!"
Another commented: "I like it! I had an uncle with the name and definitely don’t think it’s only for dogs. I actually think it’s kind of rude when people say that. Humans throughout history have had the name Rex!"
