Mum-to-be's unusual baby bump leaves followers in awe

The miracle of birth, as many mothers will tell you, is bound to cause a whole host of changes you never expected.

But one mum-to-be's baby bump was so unusual it has left followers on social media quite literally at a loss for words.

New mum Michella Meier-Morsi recently welcomed triplets Charles, Theodore and Gabriel to the world, after undergoing a caesarean section over 35 weeks into her pregnancy.

Mirror Online reports how the Danish mum became a viral sensation after sharing her pregnancy journey on Instagram with her 260,000 followers.

But the fascination around her pregnancy skyrockets when her bump began to grow "straight out" as opposed to "up and down".

Michella, who also has two other children, uploaded a video the day before her C-section, showing her stood in underwear and a dressing gown, proudly holding her baby bump at 35 weeks plus two days.

She captioned her post, writing: "The day before the day. Tomorrow morning we'll be a family of seven."

The mum went on to explain that she was "scared" and feeling "overwhelmed" about giving birth to three babies - which would mean having five children all aged between zero and three.

However, after what she describes as "the wildest 36 hours" the triplets were welcomed into the world and it was all "worth it", with Michella adding her heart is "bursting with happiness and love".

Her video was viewed thousands of times - and shared onto TikTok by a different user where it gained attention all around the world, with many in awe of the mum.

"OMG what a woman," proclaimed one person.

Another said: "I’m speechless! You my dear are a SUPER HERO!"

"I have no words... but RESPECT," posted a third.

“It’s wild how some babies grow straight out like that as opposed to up and down," added someone else.

A different user replied: "That's insane. Women are incredible. But oh my god the back pain."
