A mum-to-be is refusing to return to her mouse-infested flat because she says she is allergic to the rodents.
Nikita Smith is currently in hospital with urosepsis, a condition that she says has left her paralysed.
The 19-year-old, who has suffered three miscarriages, is seven weeks pregnant but fears returning to her home when she is discharged from hospital.
She moved into a new flat in Hull in March provided by charity Humbercare, the Hull Daily Mail reported.
Two months later and Miss Smith is terrified of returning to the home only to fall ill again.
“I don’t want to give birth to a newborn baby in this flat,” she said.

“I’m allergic to mice but they are refusing to move me and I’m worried I’m going to just end up straight back in hospital.
“We’ve had mice upstairs in the flat but they come downstairs too and we’ve reported them loads.
"I’ve been complaining since I moved in and they are refusing to move me.
“I can’t go back to the property and I feel practically homeless."
Humbercare said it could not comment on individual circumstances but said maintenance issues reported to the charity are dealt with in line with company policy.

Before Miss Smith was admitted to hospital a fortnight ago she was living with her baby's father Ryan Laws in the flat.
She claims she is paralysed from the waist down due to urosepsis, a type of blood infection.
“Humbercare are expecting me to go back to that property but it’s not suitable,” Miss Smith said.
“I would end up straight back in hospital if I went back.
“I am in with urosepsis now but before when we heard a mouse in the property I became really ill.
“I’ve had three miscarriages in the past and this won’t just affect me, it will affect my newborn baby too.”
