Mum threatened with social services after TikTok video shows what she feeds her baby

A mum's TikTok video showing what she cooks her baby daughter went viral after was trolled by people who threated to contact social services.

The video by Chef Texy  has had more than two million shares and shows a meal of rice, and meat mixed together which she then served to her one-year-old daughter.

But the TikTok viewer attracted some nasty comments from trolls who slammed the mother's choice of meal.

One person even threatened to go as far as reporting the mother to social services.

She said: "I'm calling CPS [Child Protection Services]. Who feeds there[sic] child that."

Another said the meal wasn't substantial enough, adding: "Literally who gets full from eating that."

Replying to the trolls, she joked: "Call them, I'm sure they won't mind a hot meal."

The video has racked up 257,000 likes and thousands of comments since being shared on TikTok.

However not everyone disapproved of the mum's cooking.

One woman said: "I'm so confused. What's wrong with what she feeds her child?"

Another joked: "Fresh rice, freshly cooked meat, chicken, veggies and people screaming why????

"Because it's healthy that's why, ughhhh go on now and go eat your plastic."

A third commented: "Girl I can't understand for the life of me why these people be hating on you but I think you're an amazing mom and you feed your baby good stuff."

A fourth added: "This is how not to have a picky child! Good job mama. Leave her alone please."
